Why This Is Important

I want my organic milk latte in a recycled cup with a recycled lid in a reusable fabric sleeve. I want to see recycling bins in Starbucks. I want Starbucks sell reusable fabric sleeves and train their employees to be eco friendly, recycle, and not double cup beverages. I want to LOVE Starbucks for being a sustainable brand. You have a green logo with a mermaid on it- isn’t it time you really went GREEN!?

Starbucks can have a huge positive impact on the environment, animal welfare, and our health by offering organic milk instead of conventional milk, in store recycling bins, and 100% recycled paper & plastic cups. It’s 2012. It’s time. Ethically sourcing coffee is great, but it’s not enough. We want ethically sourced milk, and not just organic soy milk! Conventional milk that is growth-hormone free is not good enough. 

Come on Starbucks. Bring back organic milk, offer in store paper & plastic recycling, and use 100% recycled paper & plastic for your cups, lids & straws!
